Do you have a bunch of empty essential oil bottles sitting around? We may or may not be guilty of this, too. Getting the smell and residue of the prior oil out of the glass bottle isn’t too hard – let us show you how we clean out our bottles so we can reuse them for future DIY projects and blends.
What You’ll Need
- a medium glass bowl
- white vinegar
- water
What You’ll Do
First, place your empty glass essential oil bottles into your glass bowl. Next, cover with 1 part vinegar to 1 part water. Allow the essential oil bottles to soak for at least 2 hours. For better results, leave them soaking overnight. After they have soaked, rinse well.
