Spruce Black brings with it the fresh, coniferous aroma of the woods of North America. It’s reminiscent of a fresh Christmas tree, a walk in the woods and it perfectly encapsulates everything we love about conifer oils. Now let’s dive into all the good stuff this oil has to offer.

Breath of Fresh Air

Like so many other coniferous oils, Spruce Black is incredible for helping clear up breathing. It’s perfect for use in the winter when seasonal illnesses strike or whenever allergies are still bothering you. In addition to using it in your diffuser to help with tight breathing, try using 1-2 drops in a facial steam. You can read all about the process and the benefits in our post The Art of the Steam.

Soothes Sore Muscles

Another common and popular use for Spruce Black is in balms and salves. It’s incredibly beneficial at helping ease sore and painful muscles. Next time you have tight, overexerted muscles that need some relief, mix four drops with three drops each of Chamomile Roman and Cedarwood, and two drops of Copaiba Oleoresin in one ounce of your favorite Plant Therapy carrier oil. Massage onto those sore muscles or use this blend for an overall very relaxing massage.

Boost for the Immune System
