Winter air can wreak havoc on our skin. The dry air, the wind, the heater on blast… all can lead to dry, cracked, uncomfortable, and even wind-chapped skin. This DIY Sleigh Ride Balm for Chapped Skin has everything you need to help moisturize and soothe tender skin while helping combat the effects of the elements.
Both Shea and Mango Butters are intensely moisturizing and full of natural fatty acids and vitamins, making them wonderful for chapped skin. Jojoba is also an incredible carrier oil that helps soften rough, reddened, or dry skin. And finally, the three chosen essential oils, Lavender, Palmarosa, and Frankincense Frereana, are all known for their skin-soothing properties. When combined together, these ingredients are just what you need when the winter winds take their toll.
