Hello, spring! You heard it, winter is out the door and spring is coming in full force. And Plant Therapy is very excited to get the spring festivities started! There are so many fun things to do this time of year. You can dye eggs (have you ever tried natural egg dying?), plant all kinds of different plants in the garden (while using essential oils to maintain your garden), and most importantly, enjoy the fresh air from open windows or long walks in the park. Now, while we love to think about the joy and new life this season brings, it is also important to prepare for some of the not-so-fun things spring has to offer… like spring cleaning and seasonal allergies. Lucky for you, we’ve got some exciting new spring blends to make life a little bit easier.
Plant Therapy is so excited to introduce two completely new spring blends: Rainy Days and Spring Dawn. And of course, customer-favorite Fresh Meadow is back for a limited time only! You can score all three spring blends in our limited-edition Everything Spring Set.
Rainy Days
Rainy Days is a soft and sweet essential oil blend with a damp, earthy, fir-like undertone. Orange Essence, Copaiba Oleoresin, Lemon, Fir Needle, Amyris, Ho Wood, and Coriander combine to make a blend reminiscent of spring days and gentle warm rain showers. It makes a fabulous additive in this easy to make dusting spray that will help prevent dust from gathering on your furniture. As an added bonus, Rainy Days is also excellent for helping loosen up some of that springtime stuffiness and easing your breathing.
Rainy Days Dusting Spray
What you’ll need:
- 6 drops Jojoba Carrier Oil
- 10 drops Rainy Days
- 4 ounces of water
- Spray bottle
- Microfiber cloth
Add these products to your cart
What you’ll do:
Combine all ingredients in a spray bottle. Spray and wipe with a microfiber cloth until shiny.
*Store in the fridge and use within a couple weeks. If you want, you can add a preservative to prolong shelf life.
Spring Dawn
The bright, sweet floral scents of Spring Dawn will bring you right to a flower-filled meadow watching the sunrise. This blend of Pink Grapefruit, Lavender Diva, Mandarin Essence, Magnolia Flower, Linalyl Acetate, and Pink Berries CO2 is therapeutically uplifting. Use this beautiful blend to create an uplifting environment anywhere you need it with this lovely, Spring Dawn Room & Linen Spray.
Spring Dawn Room & Linen Spray
What you’ll need:
- 30 ml 190 Proof Everclear or Vodka
- 85 ml Distilled Water
- 100 drops of Spring Dawn
- 4oz Spray bottle
What you’ll do:
Combine essential oil and alcohol and mix well. Allow your essential oil and alcohol mixture to sit for a couple of hours. Once your couple hours is up, combine the essential oil and alcohol mixture and your distilled water in your spray bottle. Shake well, spritz the air, and enjoy.
Fresh Meadow
A harmonious blend of citrus and sweet with a hint of spice, Fresh Meadow combines Orange Essence, Amyris, Bergamot, Steam Distilled Ginger Root and Jasmine Absolute for an uplifting and calming essential oil blend that brings the scent of a spring breeze into your home. Fresh Meadow will help you spring into action and get whatever you need to get done finished once and for all. That’s what makes it the key ingredient in our easy, DIY Carpet Deodorizer, which is guaranteed to make any room in the house the place to be.
Fresh Meadow Carpet Deodorizer
What you’ll need:
- Container with shaker lid
- 2 cups baking soda
- 20-25 drops of Fresh Meadow
What you’ll do:
Put one cup of baking soda into a container. Add 10-15 drops of essential oil. Add another cup of baking soda and 10-15 more drops of essential oil. Shake well, sprinkle on carpets and allow to sit for 30-60 minutes. Thoroughly vacuum the room and enjoy!
