The warm, familiar and inviting aroma of Cinnamon Bark makes it a fantastic addition to your favorite seasonal diffuser blends. And if you’re wondering what the difference is between this oil and Cinnamon Leaf or Cinnamon Cassia, check this blog on the three types. It’s also important to note that Cinnamon is a mucous membrane irritant and can cause coughing or irritation to nose, eyes, and mouth. And if used on the skin, it can cause redness or irritation to the skin, so it is important to stick to the recommended dilution rates. A little goes a long way!

Cleans the Air

No matter what time of year, it still seems like colds are making the rounds. But it does seem to get worse once school starts up again. Cinnamon Bark is a great choice to diffuse to help clean the air and support your immune system. Not only will it help keep your family healthy when seasonal illnesses abound, but it also has a warm, spicy aroma that is perfect for the changing seasons.

Stress Relief

When you think of oils that help with stress, Cinnamon isn’t usually the first one that comes to mind. But this oil can help ease worry and stress. It’s especially useful when the fatigue is getting to you and you need that extra stimulation to get through the day. Try diffusing a drop or two with the uplifting and citrusy Orange Sweet to help when you feeling stressed but still need to get on with your day.

Improves Circulation

Even though Cinnamon requires caution when using topically doesn’t mean it can’t still be useful in certain situations. When properly diluted to 0.1%, it can help improve circulation and help with inflammation. If you decide to use it in your topical blends, you’ll only need one drop in two tablespoons of carrier oil.

Warm and Cozy
