What’s fresh and cooling and totally fabulous? It’s our Western U.S. Peppermint Essential Oil, of course! One whiff of it and you’ll recognize its refreshingly minty aroma. And since Western U.S. Peppermint holds a higher menthol content than other Peppermint oils, this can be extremely helpful when dealing with discomfort or soreness. In this post, you’ll learn all the capabilities of this invigorating oil, plus, an ever-so cooling DIY spray!
Unlike Any Other Peppermint
It’s a no-brainer why Western U.S. Peppermint should be the selection when deciding what Peppermint essential oil is best for you. As mentioned before, Western U.S. Peppermint contains a higher menthol content than your average Peppermint oil. Yes, it may have the familiar fresh, minty aroma but Western U.S. Peppermint is cleaner, smoother, and more refined (just think of it as Peppermint’s cooler, older sibling).
Stimulating to the Senses
When work has you putting in long hours or if you’re staying up longer than expected to cram in a study sesh, you might need something to help enhance alertness. Western U.S. Peppermint Essential Oil is a great choice for those long nights or for a midday boost of energy. It has the ability to support mental stamina and help you conquer big projects or tasks. To take in its stimulating properties, just diffuse Western U.S. Peppermint in an aromatherapy diffuser by adding 3-4 drops per 100 mL of water or use in a personal inhaler to take in its benefits whenever, wherever!
Diffusing Western U.S. Peppermint can also help support an overall healthy respiratory system. When congestion has you feeling icky, this essential oil can help clear such issues for easy breathing. Plus, this can also help support a healthy digestive system. When the occasional upset stomach or nausea starts causing trouble for you, dilute Western U.S. Peppermint to a maximum of 5% in a carrier oil and massage onto the abdomen. And since it has a higher menthol content than other Peppermint oils, it can greatly help reduce any discomfort.
Alleviates Tension
Speaking of discomfort, the stress in the mind or on the body can also cause irritating head or neck tension. We all deal with normal stresses throughout life and when we don’t take the time (or even have time) to do a little self-care, the tension in the head or neck can happen. To help alleviate these troubles, Western U.S. Peppermint can aid in relieving tense muscles and joints. Dilute Western U.S. Peppermint to a maximum of 5% in a carrier oil or a lotion for an alleviating massage to your muscles. Once massaged into your aching muscles, you’ll find that Western U.S. Peppermint is cool to the touch, much similar to its scent.
