One of our favorite ways to get the most out of essential oils is with a pre-diluted roll-on! You can purchase your favorite blend and trust it comes at the correct dilution in one of the most versatile carrier oils, Fractionated Coconut Oil. Or you can easily make your own roll-on at home! They’re portable, easy to use and can provide you with the support you need, whenever you need it.
Have found yourself wondering, roll-on in hand, where do I apply it? Well, we’re here to break down some of the best places to use your roll-ons.
Your Temples
If we’re starting on top and working our way down, the first place you can apply your roll-on is your temples. This is the ideal choice any time you feel a headache coming, whether from stress, tension or any other reason. Our Tension Relief Roll-On can help reduce the effects of worry and help ease symptoms. Or use if you need a bit of mental clarity and focus, Brain Aid and Meditation can help give you the boost you need. And for a headache relief DIY, try the Brain Tamer Roll-On.
Your Neck
There are two really great reasons to use a roll-on on your neck. The first is to help with any pain or tension. Rapid Relief can help relieve the perception of pain or Tension Relief can help soothe the worries that cause the symptoms in the first place. The second reason is that it’s the ideal place for perfume! By putting your blend on your pulse points, the fragrance gets a little extra heat and can help intensify the scent.

Your Chest
Applying roll-ons to your chest is especially helpful during times of seasonal illnesses. If you’re suffering from a cough that just won’t go away, congestion, or seasonal allergy symptoms, there are some great options to help provide relief like Respir Aid, Sneezy Stop and Sniffle Stopper.
Your Wrists
Your wrists are also pulse point, making it another ideal place for your favorite essential oil perfume. Plus, it also works well as an easy place to get a whiff of your favorite synergy while enjoying their therapeutic benefits. Your wrists are close at hand, but at the same time, you won’t feel overpowered by the aroma. Energy, Self Esteem and Relax are all great options!
Your Stomach
This is one of the most popular places to use roll-ons and probably because it can be a source of such discomfort. Everything from gas, bloating, nausea, stomach aches, and menstrual cramps can put a damper on your day. There are a number of blends and individual oils that can help with those symptoms like DiGiZen, Tummy Aid, and Tummy All Better. Plus check out our DIY Sage Stomach Saver Roll-On!
Your Feet
There are a couple reasons to apply roll-ons to your feet. Some are more obvious, like using No More Warts to help with the occasional wart or DermaShield to help with skin problems. But you might have noticed that the feet come up often as a suggestion for applying a variety of roll-ons. This can be a good choice because the skin on your feet is less sensitive, however, proper dilution rates are still important. And let’s be honest, a foot massage feels great!
