To continue in the spirit of easy DIY projects, I thought I would share a project that I do in my own home anytime of year, but it is especially useful during the holiday time. I use cotton facial pads in pillow cases, tucked in with bathroom towels, in drawers, in stinky shoes, or any other place you can think of to passively diffuse the scent of my favorite essential oils.
This is a quick and easy way to impress your guests with fresh smelling bed linens, or provide sweet smelling towels to dry off after a shower.
The ways you can use them are endless & I’d love to hear what you come up with too!
What you’ll need:
- Cotton beauty pads (round or square)
- Essential oils of your choice (our Holiday Synergies make a nice choice this time of year)
What you’ll do:
- Place a few drops of your chosen synergy onto the bottom pad and place wherever you want the smell of the holidays to linger!
*My favorite choice to diffuse is Nighty Night on a cotton pad, then slipped into the pillow cases on my guest bed!
